Carson Endodontics – Meet Dr. Kathie Carson

Dr. Kathie Carson has been practicing Endodontics since 2004. She is a graduate of West Virginia University and completed her endodontic training at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. Kathie was active duty for over 9 years and a reservist for 3 years.

Her love of dentistry started at an early age when Kathie began working in her father’s dental office in Northern Virginia. The foundation for her passion in endodontics came from her interest in microbiology in undergraduate school.

She has been practicing in the Hampton Roads area for several years. Her decision to open her own practice in Suffolk was due largely in part to her children who are active in various sports. Kathie states, “being closer to home allows me to be more involved with my children’s activities.” Kathie also loves that she gets to treat and care for patients in and near her community. In her spare time, she enjoys golf and running and even completed a course in an Iron Man competition.
