Dr. Kathie Carson, a Dumfries native, earned her Bachelor's degree from West Virginia University and in 1996, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia School of Dentistry.

Dr. Petley is a western Pennsylvania native and a longtime resident of Pittsburgh, PA. Following graduation from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Dr. Petley began his professional dental education at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation Dr. Petley started a general dentistry practice in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Dr. Petley enjoyed several years of providing comprehensive, family dental care in a very successful private practice. A mid-career opportunity took Dr. Petley to West Virginia University, School of Dentistry, for an Endodontic dental specialty residency.
